The dark sky is looming over the town

Now I feel so sad

that you keep getting mad

In the pouring rain

passers-by drown

The dark sun is gloomy over the town

I saw your name

written in the sky

For this no one's to blame

but the birds that cry

Have they seen you and me

walking on the street ?

It would be so nice to meet

Have they found a new place

Have they loved a new face ?

I've never seen a light

so deep shine in a man's eye

I wander in the gloomy street

You're so hard that I

can't remember why

floating before my eye

Shadows of the past rise so high

I saw a mermaid smooth her hair

I had never seen someone so fair!

The endless river flows so slow

I can't help admiring you from top to toe!

The robin sings a song so sad

my heart bleeds till heaven is dark—

Dazzling sun Dazzling moon

my heart is in bloom

I've always loved you

—It's true—

I wish I'll see you again

so soon

My red-breasted girl

it's a robin burial

you should take to your heels and flee

Don't come back for your own funeral

Let bye-gones be bye-gones

Give me a long goodbye

and sing it along

It's time

Fly higher and higher

I wish I could walk on water

in the open road left by the waves

that are breaking apart ~

The isle is an eye in the sea

I wish I could sleep in this haven

and dream of a better life!

I walk on an arch of stone

to cross the bridge to the sky

Scene of Gloom endlessly looms

Marvellous play of lights and shadows

What a gorgeous day !

A ladybug on a white feather

is a red drop of blood
